Arkansas Medical Marijuana Card Drive at Headwaters Provisions | April 2026

In the beginning, we were just a small weed-themed apparel shop located in the same building as The Source Craft Cannabis Dispensary and Apothecary in Rogers, Arkansas, and it was slow going.

What Is a Patient Card Drive?

A Patient Card Drive brings a licensed medical marijuana physician directly to you. Instead of searching for a clinic, scheduling a separate doctor’s visit, and waiting weeks to get your certification, you come to Headwaters, meet with Dr. Sandra Bailey and the Dope Medicinal Wellness team on-site, and get your paperwork handled — start to finish — in one trip to Rogers.

This event covers both new Arkansas medical marijuana card applications and renewals for existing patients whose cards have expired or are coming up for renewal.

The Dope Medicinal Wellness team and community partners gathered at their Fayetteville open house in February 2026 for a screening of Roots & Reefer | The Arkansas Cannabis Story.

About Dope Medicinal Wellness | Fayetteville, AR

Dope Medicinal Wellness is a female-owned and operated Arkansas practice founded with one mission: to help Arkansans access medical cannabis through safe, physician-led care. They’ve become a trusted resource for patients across the state, known for making the certification process approachable, transparent, and judgment-free.

In February 2026, Dope Medicinal Wellness hosted an open house at their brick-and-mortar clinic in Fayetteville, welcoming the NWA cannabis community for an evening of conversation, connection, and a screening of Roots & Reefer | The Arkansas Cannabis Story, a 35-minute documentary that follows Arkansas’s medical cannabis industry from seed to patient. This includes the story of Rochelle Bradshaw, who has been seizure free for nearly 6 years and who has found profound relief through medical cannabis. Dope Medicinals’ open house was exactly the kind of event that reflects who they are: a practice that doesn’t just certify patients, but genuinely invests in educating and building the community around them.

The practice is led by Dr. Sandra Bailey, a board-certified physician with more than 25 years of medical experience. Dr. Bailey has seen firsthand the life-changing impact medical cannabis can bring to patients and relocated to Arkansas with a renewed focus on expanding access to evidence-based cannabis care. Her approach combines deep medical knowledge with compassionate, one-on-one conversations — every patient feels heard.

New to the Arkansas Medical Marijuana Program?

Arkansas has had a legal medical marijuana program since 2019, and getting your card is more straightforward than you might think — especially at your local glass and provisions shop here on the Bentonville-Rogers line.  Both new cards and renewals are $50 through the Arkansas Department of Health. For the full rundown on qualifying conditions, what to expect at your physician visit, and how to submit your application, Roots & Reefer has an excellent step-by-step guide and many other Arkansas Medical Marijuana Resources  here.

What to Bring to your Medical Marijuana Card Appointment

Preparation makes the visit faster and smoother. Before you come to the Headwaters Patient Drive in Rogers, make sure you have:

  • A valid Arkansas state-issued  ID or driver’s license
  • $50 payment - cash and cards accepted!
  • Any relevant medical records (helpful, not required)

ARMMJ Card Renewals Welcome

Already a cardholder? This event isn’t just for first-timers. Arkansas medical marijuana card renewals are just as welcome at the Patient Drive. Cards are valid for one year, so if yours is expiring soon — or if it’s already lapsed — this is a fast, local way to get back in good standing without a gap in access.

The renewal process is nearly identical to the initial application: you’ll meet with Dr. Bailey for re-certification, then reapply through the ADH portal. Dope Medicinal Wellness handles the physician side of it right here in Rogers.
