Commitment to Local Craftsmanship
At Headwaters Provisions, it is super important to us to support local Arkansas artists and glass blowers. From the beginning, we wanted to provide more than what other shops offered – not just cookie-cutter pipes mass-produced from somewhere across the world, but high-quality craftsmanship in our glass pieces that highlight true artistry and skill. Local is always better, and we started out with just a few artists who have now become the foundation of our unique collection.
Meet Headwaters’ Featured Local Glass Blowers
Adam Driver - Fayetteville, Arkansas
Known on Instagram as @theghostofchristmas, Adam Driver is one of the most talented glass artists in Northwest Arkansas. He specializes in crazy thick, heavy pieces like little yellow submarines and cruisers, as well as strong little inside-out pipes. If you are looking for glass that will last you a lifetime, Adam’s products are always an excellent choice. His attention to detail and commitment to durability make his pieces true investments for serious collectors.

Backwoods Glass - Eureka Springs, Arkansas
Led by Panda, with over 20 years of experience, Backwoods Glass offers a vast variety of spoons, Sherlocks, bubblers, and steamrollers at very affordable prices. Headwaters carries more of his work than any other local blower – a big shout out to Panda for being a staple of Headwaters Provisions. His dedication to quality and affordability has made his pieces consistently popular with customers.

Hashbrowns Glass - Fayetteville, Arkansas
Originally a Florida glass blower, Hashbrowns Glass now graces our shop with cool fumed spoons with honeycombs and opals. Their Florida influence brings a distinctive style to the Northwest Arkansas glass scene, offering customers access to diverse artistic perspectives and techniques.
Jakers Glass - Fayetteville, Arkansas
Jakers (or Jakers Glass) is another Fayetteville artist known for beautiful fuming work. They are well-known for their unique designs and are not afraid to incorporate opals into their creations. The way they manipulate color through fuming techniques creates stunning visual effects that change over time, making each piece a constantly evolving work of art.

Wolverine Dream Glass - Rogers, Arkansas
Wolfgang Turner (yes, that awesome name is real!) is a local artist from right here in Rogers, Arkansas. I have had the pleasure of getting to know him through my time managing Headwaters Provisions, and he shared a wonderful story about why he got into the art of glass blowing.
In 2017, his gastrointestinal (GI) disease, Hirschsprung, reached an overwhelming point, and he decided to try cannabis for the first time. He immediately felt relief for the first time in his life. From that moment on, he knew he wanted to get into the cannabis industry to help others achieve relief and wellness the same way he did.

On June 19, 2019, he picked up a torch and began his journey into the life of a glass blower. His pipes are always affordable, and when you smoke out of one of his pieces, you really feel the love he puts into his work.
I asked him where he got the name Wolverine Dream. He explained how much he loved Wolverine from the comics and TV back in the 90s. He loved the character so much that members of his family started calling him Wolverine. Combined with glass blowing being his dream job, "Wolverine Dream" was born.
When I asked Wolfgang what he would want people to know about him, he simply said that with the support of everyone who buys his art, he really is living his Wolverine Dream.
The Value of Local Art in Cannabis Culture
Each of these artists brings something unique to our shelves. By supporting local glass blowers, we are not just offering higher quality, unique pieces – we are helping sustain a vibrant artistic community here in Northwest Arkansas. These are not just smoking devices; they are functional art pieces created by talented individuals with deep connections to our region.

Experience Local Glass for Yourself
I could go on for days about all our local artists, who I am grateful to have gotten to know so many. If you are ever in Rogers, Arkansas, and you need provisions, stop by, say hi, check out the local glass, and experience the difference that handcrafted, locally made pieces make.
As always, STAY AWESOME!
